Noise and Vibration Surveys

Noise and vibration surveys are fundamental to all types of acoustic assessments and are a critical factor in ensuring appropriate acoustic design relating to noise and vibration ingress and egress.

For noise sensitive developments such as residential, hospitals, education, cinemas, music studios offices etcetera, noise and vibration surveys are required to inform the design of the building in order that it performs to the required standards.

Where potentially noisy developments are proposed adjacent to existing noise sensitive developments noise surveys will be required, in order to assess the potential impact of these new noise sources.

AEC can provide both long-term and short-term noise and vibration surveys, attended and unattended, at both internal and external locations.
